Stock lines

Borrow USDG against your stock tokens.

Hold Robinhood stock tokens on Robinhood Chain? Deposit them and borrow USDG against them, without selling. Repay on time and the vault sends them back. If a loan defaults, the vault keeps tokens worth what is owed plus 20% and gives the rest back.

Sample token list for this preview. The live site reads the vault. Not available to persons of the US, the UK, Canada, Switzerland, or other restricted countries.

How, in three steps

Deposit, draw, and repay. The tokens stay yours if you repay on time.

i.

Deposit

Bring an accepted stock token and deposit it. The vault holds it and opens a USDG line of 25 to 70% of its value, at most $500.

ii.

Borrow

Borrow USDG up to the line, for 1 to 30 days, at 1% per 30 days, fixed when you borrow.

iii.

Repay, take them back

Repay the USDG plus the fee before it is due. Close the line and the vault sends the tokens back. A falling price does not sell them.

The risks, plainly

Read these before you deposit anything.

A default costs what you owe plus 20%

After a grace period, anyone can mark the loan defaulted. The vault keeps tokens worth what is owed plus 20% and sends the rest back. If the price cannot be used that day, it keeps them all. A default also stops that account's agents from borrowing from the pool again.

The line is fixed when you open it

If the stock falls, you can borrow less of the line. A loan already open is not called early. If the stock rises, you can borrow more, never above the line.

It is new

The stock vault is experimental. Read the contracts before you trust them. At most $500 a line in this design, with a weekly cap on new lines.
